...in the comments section of the booking. However, they did allocate an English speaking technician to me. We were in and out in 20 mins. 

If your vehicle fails they give you (I think) up to 14 days to return, at no extra cost, and they just check over the previous failed area. It is just an inspection service. 

For repairs, I can recommend The Garage at Arboleas. Run by a very nice British family, very good rates and great service.

...e. Do ITV centres in Spain repair cars or are they just test centres? I have the V5 and I will take my NIE number and passport, is there anything I should take?

Once this is done I understand I go into Vera town hall (currently my local council) where they provide me with a tax certificate which I then have to pay at a bank? Does this have to be my bank or any bank?

Moving to Spain certainly keeps you busy!! Residency trip in two weeks and then our driving licences....
