When I finally move to Spain, is the process of getting licence for cars and motorcycles straightforward?

Define “straightforward” ... UK licence only valid / recognised up to 30/6/2021, after that you’ll have to take a Spanish driving test to obtain relevant licences

Is the 30/6/2021 also for anyone living here on a visa
you have to be resident for 6 months first and then you can take the tests. you can take the theory test in English if needed.

Yes - if you are resident here you have until 30/6 to get licence swapped over

Out of interest...he's wrong....you cannot exchange UK licences unless registered before 30th december 2020
