Indoor parking with AA Parking costs 160€ more a year than outdoor, which I believe means under a canopy and with the car being washed before collection.
What are people's experiences with either option please?

I don’t have an opinion based on experience, but given the state of some cars sun damaged paintwork that you see around, I opted for the covered parking. My car is reasonably new and in good condition, so I decided not to risk it. But you pays your money and makes your choice.
I bought a decent car last year and didn't want to risk damage to the exterior paintwork (hailstone and ultra violet light) nor the interior (heat and ultra violet light) so decided that inside parking was the only option for me.
I personally would prefer my car parked in a building rather than under a canopy

Waste of money if you ask me.,it's Spain deal with it me personally I leave mine out side.ans have no problem with it.cars hold there value in Spain regardless of condition.
We use plane parking and its stored outside, the car is immaculate when we pick it up and no damage to Paintwork.

It's only another 120 euro for the inside parking, so peanuts really. Works out at 32 cents a day. But you pays your money and makes your choice.
