if you are travelling to the UK the antigen test is also valid which costs 40 euro at the ev medical centre in Vera they also do the PCR test 140 euro and I think the results are in 48 hours. There is a place also in mojacar where they do the antigen test under the farmacy next to the unicaja ban...

...k also probably around 40 euro and results in 15- 30 minutes

This is helpful, thanks.  Presumably they are still doing the fit-to-fly antigen tests at these two pharmacies - does anyone know if you can just walk-in?  EV in Vera are non-responsive to email enquiries about making an appointment for next week!

No it seems EV medical are not responding to emails re appointments as I tried. However when I telephoned I got through straightway and arranged an appointment.

Hi.

I’ve just flown back EasyJet Gatwick to Murcia. Had my PCR Test with Melio at my local pharmacy. Test done at 12.00 Thursday and result back 5.30 Friday (I was flying Saturday afternoon). Expensive at £120 but worth it for peace of mind. Checked at both Gatwick and Murcia.

Please can I advise I went to a place in Mojacar  near to  Currencies Direct, with my sister to get a covid antigen test it was the worse experience we have ever had regarding testing, the staff were cruel , and no respect for people's discomfort , we witness a  elderly lady in discomfort,  they treated her vile, you could only pay cash, the price went up by £20 euros extra, , the guy doing the actual test,  hurt everyone,  we were  queuing and they just shouted and really rude, the lady taking the cash grabbed the money , and documents  out of our hands, disrespectful,  we were all saying the same, please avoid this place, they don't deserve the custom or time of day

Hi

Thanks for the advice and I won’t be using this service.

I have actually bought my own antigen test here in the uk to take with me so hopefully all we be fine,

Be aware that the test kits supplied in the UK are no good for the pre flight (Spain to UK) test or the day 2 (UK) test.  A shame as they are free in the UK.  Annoying, that's for sure.
