Can anybody explain why taxis are still operational in Mojacar and only one person is allowed in a private car?

They are providing a service for people who do not drive.

they are supposed to carry one passenger who must wear a mask and they must also wear a mask. but watching them yesterday three drivers were in very close proximity to each other by the bench with no masks on.

Masks are not necessary, especially since no everyone has one and the chemists have run out of them.

If you can't drive or have no car, two can go in atax if they have a valid reason eg.two doctors appointments, or one person is medically dependant on the other.

You have to sit in the back behind the passenger seat though.....So at an angle to the driver. (That means you are as far away as possible).....if they carry your bags to or from the car, then you should wipe the handles down with gel/ disenfectant and wash your hands when you get home....Stay safe
