Nice sentiment Sue, but when you are faced with a myriad of uncaring planks they don't care a whit about you or anybody else. 1. I obey all the restrictions, they are clear, it's prudent, it's healthy and I expect everybody else to obey the restrictions too.

2. I notice some whinging here that they are not policed when they return to the UK during the two week isolation. There is much personal responsibility on the matter. The last thing we need is police physically calling to everybody. We are all adults, but only some of us choose to behave like one.

3. Before somebody points it out, it is nice to be nice.

Well said Matthew

I was out in Los Gallardos in late July to early August and the mask-wearing measures at all times outside the home seemed quite appropriate and I rarely saw anyone flouting the rule. Looking forward to the next trip next week.

So if we drive down after UK and France open up in December...(?) ..can we actually drive to a rental house we use often ( we were there March to August this year)..in Mojacar Playa.. Or is Mojacar closed off? Can we get in by showing a rental contract? Appreciate any advice..thanks.

If municipal borders remain closed and you are not a resident traveling to a primary resident, or a non-resident making a final move to a primary residence, then no.  You can’t come.  Valencia and Murcia have extended border restrictions until after December 9th.  It’s odds-on that Andalucia will follow suit this weekend

Oh wow. thanks a lot for your help.......what a disappointment!..I was worried about UK and France lockdown finishing, but then to drive down and to be stuck at the municipal border!!

Do we see any chance of that municipal border opening before Xmas?..I guess we might hear this weekend?

Junta de Andalucia are meeting this weekend; I’ll stick my neck out and say they will extend restrictions until after 9th December; will everything open up before Christmas?  Couldn’t say - that depends on the numbers of infections etc.

I would advise, if you use Facebook, follow the N332 site - run by off-duty active Spanish police, it is the one site where you can get up-to-date and ACCURATE information in English
