Good afternoon

We are considering driving through France to Mojacar as I have been shielding at home and don't wish to go straight from that to sitting on a plane with 100+ other people in close proximity for two and a half hours.  Does anyone know the status of France's restrictions on hotels and foreign visitors at the moment.

Thanks

Nigel Espin

I drove through France 10 days ago from Cherbourg to Perpignan and stopped at a Premiere Classe on the way- pre- booked but as far as I know French hotels are open

Thank you that is very helpful.  Once the restrictions are lifted I reckon driving down and back will be our preferred route.

Cheers  Nigel

We jumped through all soughts of hoops for the French and Spanish governments in order to travel. We DID NOT get stopped once and not once did we get asked for our papers the only people who asked to see our passports were the hotel receptionists on our stopovers  n that was just to confirm our booking . We currently feel so much safer here in spain n we have bin to mojacr for an evening meal several times absolutly everyone conforms with the face mask rule its the new normal you do get used to it . I really don't think we will ever go back to the uk home is now here.

Good luck do it before you cant or you change your mind

Has anyone recently driven via France and the Tunnel to the U.K.? We’re you asked to supply quarantine address forms?

Chris
