I think, probably because when he is here, Matthew resides in Mojácar, so this is his community.

My point exactly..

So anything pertaining to

Mojacar is of interest to  Mojacar forum members.. are you honestly  really interested in  what the Irish Government regulations are ,  ( the same as Spanish but without the teeth! So not going to be as effective) or  deaths of unknown Irish people...  we are weeks behind you.

So like reading  3 week okd newspapers...

When  the Mojacar Community is fighting  an immediate battle,   with  success due to diligence and sacrifice  of the community.

I would question how  pertinent ANY OTHER countries  in depth news reports would be ... apart from the citizens..

Who are already keeping abreast  of what is happening where ever they are through News aps etc.

I am just questioning how valid this topic is to the people living in Mojacar.

Personally  it jars with me when I am keenly following the events and situation in Mojacar.

Having owned propwrties there for almost 16 years I

I wish everyone a peaceful Easter ,  health and happiness.

Hi Cumbres, In a previous post I asked that you should not dictate what any poster should place on this forum. Have you a difficulty with that? It's a free world here in europe and free will pertains. If you want to talk about Mojacar only, then work away. But please don't decide what others should discuss.

If my posts have no place here the managers of the website can delete what I've written and whatever compositions others have written. One poster called for me to be banned from the forum. I haven't been banned and so if I feel like contributing here I will.

Mathew....... I can only quote your words back at you!!!

HOISTED BY YOUR OWN PETARD!!!

You appear to believe everyone is entitled to their opinion......or rather everyone is entitled  to YOUR opinion.

Your previous responses to myself and others have been unnecessarily abrupt and rude and sometimes hectoring.  I also was under the impression that you actually lived in Mojacar

But as you seem to see yourself as the "voice of Ireland in Mojacar "    Perhaps you might  consider  conducting  yourself with a little more decorum... take a lead if you will, from our President ,Taoiseach and Ministers who are representing our country admirably...

Sorry Cumbres, I'm not going to respond to your untrue allegations. Neither am I going to repeat what I have said already.

Personally, I don’t look at the forum and say “oh - this is only Mojácar / Vera / Garrucha” or wherever; this is a forum for expatriates, for this living here, living here for part of the year, visiting here, or planning to come here.  It’s for everyone.

Really, if you don’t like what someone says .... then ignore it, and scroll past.  You simply cannot díctate what another member says in this forum.

From Irish national radio news:-

1. United Kingdom:- Boris Johnson has left St-Thomas' hospital and is making steady progress in his health and recuperating at Chequers. I'm sure all posters here wish him the best.

2. Spain:- Some construction workers are being allowed to return to work from today. They are being issued with face masks.

Mr Johnson will probably continue to work and I bet he will be a more chaste person and learn from his stay in St-Thomas'.

Some Spanish construction workers (with the official Covid-19 hospital death toll at 16.5K and real national death toll a lot higher) are being sent back to work. I'm not a doctor but I think this will have dreadful consequences, I regret to say.

Sadly I think Mathew might be correct with this.  The Spanish Flu, the most dealy pandemic, came in 3 waves.

Just to clarify, its only some construction workers returning to work. Construction workers involved in domestic home improvement projects are not returning

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Now THAT is just pure supposition.  There is NO evidence to support that, is there?

If you have seen a government report that suggests that is what is occurring please please post it.

But my understanding is that a Covid-19 passing is only counted as such if the poor unfortunate has tested positive for Covid-19
