Desso, While I agree with all you said, this thread is exclusively for wishing Boris Johnson best wishes. There are two other threads where you can praise or condemn him i.e. "In Praise of Boris Johnson" and "Boris Johnson - Falling Down on the Job."

I suggest you wait until Mr Johnson is recovered and back at work before joining the critics (incl me). There is a time and place for everything....

...

So you expect everyone to fall in line even if that person has condemned others to death with his policy's?

I wonder how many have died because of Johnsons inaction on the Virus? Now because of his actions the UK are predicted to have the most deaths in Europe.

But never mind as long as the one making the bad decisions is getting better then everything is alright in your mind.

Prime Minister, the NHS is not safe in your hands. Your negligence and that of your party over the past decade has contributed to the deaths of nearly 5,500 patients, and if you were a junior doctor like me, your licence would now be revoked, and you would be sent to prison.

• Andrew Meyerson is a junior doctor working at Worcestershire Royal hospital.

That's a quote from a piece in the Guardian newspaper,  so maybe you should ask that question to the relatives of the 5,500. (Would post the whole articl but takes up to much space, but you can Google it)

It is a registered junior Doctor writing his article that was posted in the Guardian, but you dont need his words, there are plenty of Nurses and Doctors saying the same.

Maybe you havent  been keeping up with the news and the Doctors/Nurses with inadequate protection.

Look, I don't like Boris - my normal moniker for him is BoZo, as in BoZo the clown.  I refer to him here as "Boris" or "Mr Johnson" out of respect for his health.  I don't applaud anything he has done, he is a complete waste of space, an arrogant selfish buffoon .... BUT .... he doesn't deserve to die.  I do NOT wish that on him or indeed anyone. When he recovers I look forward to seeing him challenged, castigated, have put to him every difficult question there is, have him held responsible for the travesty of a government he "leads" etc. etc.  When he recovers.

I wan't to see him removed from office at the ballot box, not in a wooden box.

Very well put, you have summed up the essence of democracy; argue your case on equal terms, don’t hit somebody when they are down and unable to respond. Let the people decide and they that did at the last election.

I know you have strong anti-Boris feelings but I admire the way that you have decided to put your feelings aside at this difficult time for the country, and probably more relevantly for his family.

Edwina "Clueless" Curry was interviewed today on Irish national radio in respect of Boris Johnson and his illness. Most of the callers who rang the programme wished Boris Johnson only the best.

. . . . . . . . . . . . and when just everything was going well . . . . . . . (wait for it! . . . . . p a  t i e n c e) . . . . . . (roll of drums) . . .(blast of trumpets!!!!) . . . . .  Ms Curry informed the entire radio listening population of Ireland that the UK was easily outperforming the Republic of Ireland's fight against Covid-19 and the statistics supported her. Eventhough it was radio I could nearly see the interviewer's eyes rolling upwards in despair.

Today's Coronavirus Statistics:-

UK Dead 938 (Total todate 7097)

ROI Dead 25 (Total todate 235)

Do your calculations per capita or any other way. ROI closed its schools a month ago and started it's Covid-19 campaign a month ago. The UK campaign was much later "when they got it just right" per the Panama Hat Old Farts.

Do people in the UK really believe the likes of Edwina Curry?

Mr Boris Johnson, please come back, nearly all is forgiven and I won't mention Brexit again.

ROI Population 5M

UK Population 68M

No Tony. But I believe there is a time and place for everything.
