Hi, my wife and I are due to fly with Ryan Air to Spain on 23rd July and their website is exceedingly vague. Does anyone know if we still need to present a negative test before being allowed to fly. We both have the relevant paperwork to prove we are fully vaccinated. Thanks in advance
Hi
From 2nd July if you have had both vaccines that are recognised by EU then you don't need a negative covid test .
The batch numbers for the Astra zeneca that they are not accepting are batch number 4120Z001, 4120Z002, 4120Z003
So therefore you would need a negative covid test.

Do you know the reason for not accepting the quoted AZ batch numbers?
Good morning
There has been some confusion published regarding the Indian produced Astra Zeneca, initially it was reported that these 3 variants were not being accepted by the EU database for recognised vaccine's. However things are currently being put in place to rectify this & various EU contries have confirmed that they will allow access with the Indian vaccine.
One of these countries is Spain.
Please see article published by BBC news on link below to confirm:

I did the research as I have received the Indian vaccine & am hoping to fly out to Spain in August.
Hope this helps :)

Hi
Yes I believe this is so. I heard Boris comment on it yesterday that it's not going to be a problem for us.
You should be fine with your vaccine pass and enjoy your holiday.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.
Hi
Yes we did that last year but with everything changing now with the covid pass and Boris saying we might not have to self isolate if we have had both jabs if we have been near someone who has tested positive I am hoping that will be abolished too.
Tracey
Yes you do need a negative pcr or antigen test at the moment to fly. You also have to show you have had 2 vaccinations. On the Ryan air booking site there is a pink line running across the top of it, open that it will give you the info
Thank you everyone for the advise.
Now sorted.
Kind Regards
Jane
