Well, I think you need to try present that without the attempt to skew it; it’s 2k fresh in the last 14 days, many asymptomatic younger folk, picked up through increased testing and a track and trace that actually works. It’s also not 2k right across the country, it’s mainly in the North and has been traced to family gatherings and also one or two clusters of casual Labour / fruit picking. ALL the outbreaks are being actively monitored and are under control. One area in the South, Totana in Murcia has reverted to Phase 1 de-escalation which is NOT a lockdown as has been suggested elsewhere, but has restrictions on amount allowed to gather, restrictions on restaurant capacity etc etc.
Paint it anyway you like, but the truth is that you’re a hell of a lot safer in Spain than you are in the UK.
