Personally, I'd buy in UK. Consumer protection is different and better for Apple products if anything goes wrong.

Have seen a good deal at Argos. So will buy here ready for my move x

Go to the Apple shop. Better service , better explanation about how it works ( used to get an hours free tuition at one time don’t know if they still do that)

I know you mentioned ‘new’ in your post, but Amazon do a great range of ‘used’ iPads and iPhones. I bought an iPad Air, looks and performs like new with over £100 off.
