Hi Alan, i have a quad for sale.

It is a Kymco 500cc, ITV until November 2023, fully automatic, 2 seater with front and rear storage boxes, almost new tyres, year 2007 (I think.) We bought it last year when we moved out into the hills above Zurgena but hardly used it as i have had to have a hip replacement but also we bought a 4x4 so now surplus to requirements.

Pricewise looking around €3850 including 2 nearly new crash helmets. If you are interested get back to me.

               Thanks for your response. I’m in a bit of limbo until my Spanish Abogado gets her act together and completes the deal. Can I ask one question, can I drive an insured quad on the roads using my full UK car licence. My Abogado has no idea and when I look on the Inet there’s loads of mixed messages.

                I should have the house sorted in a few weeks, so I’ll come back to you regarding your quad.

Sorry i can' help with the information re driving licence as I have a Spanish licence. If you contact Elliot at Mapfre insurance in Albox he would probably be able to answer your question, I have the quad insured with them and I think it was around €65 for the year.

Hi Paul,  Bit of a long shot but Is the quad still for sale I am in Arboleas, and just this morning I posted an advert on this forum, as I'm looking to buy a quad bike.

Hi, yes it is still for sale. I have been ill for a few weeks now and trying to get over a bad chest infection. My mechanic came up to have a look at it to see what was wrong and found it needs a battery and a new solenoid, both of which I can get from Amazon. If I can get them ordered this week they should be here sometime next week or you can come and have a look at it this week but definitely won't start.
