Are there any news about the connection from Alicante - Murcia - Vera - Almeria?
If and when the high speed links to Granada and Seville happen it can only be a good thing for hotels and businesses in this area...bring it on.
The high speed train link from Almeria to Murcia is currently due to be completed in 2026, there is lots of construction underway towards Almeria and more being carried out (prep work at least) around Vera and towards Lorca, again a great asset for the region when it's completed...

Think "when" is the operative word. We have been here 23 years and there has been talk about completing this connection for many many years. Work did start but the stopped! Don't hold your breath for anytime soon
