Hello, I have been visiting Mojacar since 1989. I am a retired former life long HGV driver, and also a

transport enthusiast.  My second visit to Mojacar was in 1992, when my wife and I travelled by ferry,

Plymouth to Santander, then 595 miles by road, via Burgos, Madrid, and across the La Mancha Plain.

The journey was toward the end of February 1002, the snow 40 miles South of Santander was 4 metres

deep in places, but the Spanish roadway authorities did a great job in keeping us moving. I will look for

some pictures of my time in Mojacar and post them on here soon.  Best regards, Ray.

Hi, Correction to my posting re: travelling to Mojacar by road, It was 1992, not 1002.

Our journey south from Plymouth to Santander was aboard "Duke de Normandie "

because the regular ship, " Bretagne " was at Brest in Brittany having its annual refit.

The first picture is Brittany Ferries " Bretagne " which had arrived from Brest in order

to take us back to Plymouth, and the long drive home from there. The second picture

is about 40 miles south of Santander en route to Mojacar.  Cheers, Ray.
