I live in Mojacar village and have a big (1.9 metre) satellite dish and a very fast 4G broadband (up to 70 gigs).

As well as UK TV, I like the documentary channels such as PBS, History and Yesterday...etc...

At the moment I get all UK TV okay (but not in HD) and also PBS, which I love but is often pixelated...

My question is: can I get all these channels (UK TV, PBS, Yesterday, History Channel..etc..etc) that I want, but through the internet - without buffering or pixelation..???

If you know about this, please let me know. I just want to be able to watch these channels, whatever the weather..!

Hi the answer to your question is you can get all the channels on an Android box,But beware of were you buy it from because an Android box is only as good as the person maintaining it for you if you cant do it yourself. Some people will sell you a box for a lot of money then dissapear then your left with a box that does not work.If you buy one on the internet they usually dont work as they put out of date software on them.Hope that helps.

Don't worry Paul, I am aware of these android swindles - I was in one such place today in Turre, where they offered to charge me €360 a year for the TV I'm already getting..

Your deal sounds good...I'll go to Beachcomber and have a look and let you know...

Trudi, I'm still mostly relying on TV via the satellite dish - but I recently fitted a settop box, linked to the internet - that I bought on eBay for about £25.

However I am in London now, until the 14th February, so when I get back to Mojacar, I'll get in touch with you and we can talk further about it - but I still have no ready solution to getting PBS - which is the channel I really want...

Regards,

Struanrob

Hi, Tel 634356498 but there is a 950  475 712 number which is at the shop itself.

Do you know Koi Cafe or Spanish Property Choice or PAWS? Behind the first 2 is a street/parking area/little shopping precinct. PAWS is here as well as PC PLAYA. Mention Dr. Bob if you like as they are currently mending our laptop.

Best Wishes,

Bob and Sandra
