Hello everyone I am moving to La Mata, Mojacar later this week, can anyone recommend a broadband internet provider, with good service and strong signal for the the La Mata area. Is it possible to get fiber optic in this area? Many thanks for any help that can be given. Peter

Hi,

We have Telplay for Internet. ,3 yrs now & no complaints.

Telplay.es is on Google Search in Spanish & English.

No fibre-optics as yet.

Buffering is a problem at peak times.

Your other option is 4G, but that will be a little more expensive than WiMAX solutions or ADSL or Fibre Optic.

Both Orange and Vodaphone have good 4G solutions.  I have been using a 4G solution carried by Vodaphone and retailed by a gent by the name of Steve Bancroft who runs http://www.4ginternet.es

Saludos, Darío

Hi, we are with Next communications had no probs so far been with them for over a year.  That also do a vacancies package which means if your out of the country you email them and pay a much smaller monthly payment.  We are up the road from the La Mata area.

Thank you Liz1953, that’s very interesting given that you live in a close location.
