Monthly Broadband
Hello there,
My parents have been with Movistar for more than ten years, and I have a feeling they're paying over the odds. I'd be grateful to anyone willing to compare costs or offer hints on how to negotiate a better deal. In the UK it's very much a question of playing "chicken". I negotiated my Virgin Broadband deal down from £54 to £32 a month, and I know many others who have done the same, but I'm told the switching market is not as active/competitive in Spain. Can't believe they're not being taken for a ride, since they currently pay 75 Euro per month and a comparable deal on the Movistar website seems to be 40 Euro for a 24 month contract. That's for a fibre optic connection, landline, 500 mobile minutes, and the usual TV channels.
If they call and threaten to leave, will they be offered further services or a reduced deal?
Thanks in advance to anyone with some advice on the matter.
