Has anyone seen any information about forthcoming changes to UK pensions payable to people who have been residents in Spain for over 15 years? I cannot find mention of anything on the UK.gov site.

not seen anything to say this any where. the only problem seems to be with certain banks in the UK who are withdrawing the accounts from ex pats even if the have been loyal customers for many years because of Brexit and the banking laws where they have to have a licence to operate in Europe.
This happened initially when the Brexit vote was first announced and the banks seemed to sense just how much business was going to be lost if they acted like this.
Thanks for the heads up on this, it will surely be tried by banks and resisted by customers?
Might be worth reviewing other banks more geared up to European life - a few suggestions and no recommendations but my kids use Revolut, I have an N26 and there are others are already operating across Europe and EU borders, mostly accessed online and phones. I took mine out for the reasons that some of the main banks in the UK made these kind of anti-europe nuisances as I said above.

Sorry, a little confused between the question and the answers.
Was the question regarding a potential change in UK banking rules and pension payments or getting the best exchange rates?

Neither of those two matters which, broadly speaking, are settled. Somewhere, but unfortunately I can not retract to find out where, I saw a suggestion, possibly a rumour, that the UK government were considering withdrawing the right to have UK state pensions payable to those who have been permanently resident abroad for fifteen years or more, frozen and no longer be eligible for the increases that UK residents would get automatically.
