Hi Kath, we have used Sabadell since we came over in June and have had no problems with them and as a bonus they speak good English.

Hi, we’re non residents, but have been so for the last 15 yrs. We’ve tried a number of banks but are now with Santander, near the post office near commercial centre.

There is a lady there called Lyndsey Mc Bride,    We’ve found her to be helpful beyond measure and the bank seems offer everything we require. My suggestion would be, if I can be so bold, would be to go in and have a chat with her. I believe you won’t be disappointed.
All the best Paul

I second the recommendation for Sabadell. Been with them since 2014, have an Expansión account, haven’t paid any fees at all since 2014.  Sabadell are committed to offering banking in your own language and as a bonus, their online banking / banking app is really very very good.  Most of what you need to do, you can do by the app on a smartphone or online on computer, quite often taking away the need to actually go to the bank.

Quite. Anyone staying here less than 183 days a year in total is not tax resident and does not require residency.
