Dogs on beaches

a lot of the beaches exclude dogs but not many dog owners take any notice of the signage.  personally, as long as they pick up after their pets it doesn't bother me some humans leave more mess behind them.  You can of course walk them along the promenades without any restrictions.

The beach at Macenas is the only officially recognised dog friendly beach in Mojacar...

From Mojacar Town Hall, dogs are not allowed on the beaches between 31 March to 31st of October. 

There is an all year round dog beach in Aguilas, Cala Mijo

Can you walk dogs on beach in Macenas I also got reply t from tourism board that no beaches inCosta Almeria were dog friendly and no mention of ones near Alguilas which went to and very small and dog could not run though did stand in waves.  

The beach at Macenas was due to be dog friendly but when the Consetino family bought the development this was dropped by the council...

Do you know of anywhere else dog can be off lead or other beach here until June and although biggish garden finding walks bit limiting and he keeps getting burrs in feet on small roads near me

you could try the top of the beaches on the far side of Garrucha to Vera Playa lots of Spanish walk their dogs there even though it is not allowed.  It is a rough ground area so not like walking them on the sand where people go.
