Hello and Good morning. We are staying in the Algeria hotel in Mojácar and we have my father who is 84. We do have a hire car and we are looking for things to do that don’t involve much walking. Tomorrow we are going to the palace at Granada but today we are stuck as it seems most things close on a Monday. Any help appreciated. Thanks........

Monastery of the Virgin Del Saliente, Almeriaof course age does not dictate preferences, but it is an interesting and scenic drive to a beautiful and peaceful (except at pilgrimage time) destination. The buildings are serene and lovely, the views astonishing and there is a very comfortable and good restaurant at moderate price.
