Hi there,

We're thinking of buying a house in El Marchal, Lubrin. Is the local bar, the El Paniajo Bar, still open or has it permanently closed now? What other things can you do in El Marchal itself? Any info would help us greatly.

Thanks,

Nikkie.

Hi, the bar is closed permanently. Apart from walking in the surrounding countryside there is nothing to do in El Marchal.  Lubrin has much more going on, try the Lubrin ayuntamiento web site

Thanks Karina. It really does show that these forums are valuable - I saw another estate agent listing an El Marchal property and citing the local bar as one of the amenities :(

Just goes to show you can’t always believe what estate agents say. The bar has been closed for more than three years!
