  1. This happened to me, I was out on a bike ride Monday morning around the village of Los Gallardos and stopped for a rest near the Apolo restaurant, while sat astride my bike two young girls approached me, they looked respectable dressed in white jeans and white tee shirts with a red heart shape logo on them, in broken English they were asking for directions to a Farmacia, I’m not sure if they were Spanish or Eastern European, as I live near to Los Gallardos I knew where the Farmacia was and tried to direct them, they seemed grateful and flung their arms around me causing me to be unbalanced as I was still sat on my bike, so I pushed them back as much as I was able without falling over. They ran off just round the corner and jumped into a car which was waiting with the doors open, I realised, to late, that they had tried to rob me, so I immediately checked my pockets and it seemed nothing was missing, so I breathed a sigh and thought I’d been lucky. Set off again on my ride and thought I wonder what the time is, so I looked at my watch to check the time———- IT WAS GONE ——— gutted, the watch was a present from my wife, it was also a very expensive ROLEX.
  2. In hind sight I shouldn’t have been wearing it but you never think this will happen to you so don’t let it happen to you.

Bad luck. It can happen to anyone.  I had my passport stolen in Torrieviega by someone who was kindly "assisting" me. What a nightmare that was.

Older & wiser now.

Hello sorry to hear about your experience, let’s hope people who steal get their cumupance and pay the penalty, in prison hopefully.
