Termites!

OK, so we have termites, bless them! We first noticed them in a door frame last May and put proprietary treatment ourselves on the frame, which seemed to clear them. But Oh No! We have now found that frames around 2 doors are like sawdust inside, and yes there are the termites laughing at us! The thing is we have had 2 quotes to eradicate them. One is for €400, and the other is for €3k. Quite a difference. All of our research has shown us that most probably we need the more expensive Sentricor treatment and that the cheaper option will just be a holding operation. But we would like others opinions and knowledge of these treatments. Thanks
