Looking for 2 month rental while we search for a permanent address

Hi all, my wife have now relocated to Spain and we're looking to buy a place in a few months. Until that time, and while we search we are hoping to find a small, inexpensive place to stay until the latest end of February but maybe earlier. We're not fussy, it could be a Static, a caravan, an apartment, a finca ... Just as long as its clean and keeps the weather out.

The location is also not that important as we have no preconceptions or thoughts of where we will finally settle. There will be a need to do extensive daily trips as our " fixed address search" investigation unfolds. Its more important not to over extend our limited budget for now.

Psst, our budget is on the low side so please be nice , lol

Hi, why dont you start your search by contacting Voss homes in Huercal Overa, ?.

They have a rentals department that gets good reviews and feedback.

Hi again, looking around our nearest big town, Huercal Overa there are apartments for sale and rent right in the middle of town on the main streets thru and around town, walking distance to Consum and Mercadona supermarkets, the Monday and Thursday markets, high street shops cafes restaurants, chemists, etc etc. Most likely private rentals, there's even been a few apartments up with Airbnb. Just keep looking and asking. Hope you find something short and long term, we live in a lovely villa just 12 minutes out of town in a small village recently showcased on A place in the Sun called Urcal, been here since late March and love it.

Small bar/cafe, "corner shop", doctors, small school, nice community feel with friendly mix of Spanish and ex pats, older age group and easy to get along with. Darts on Thursdays lol.

Local bar in Las Norias has free informal Spanish lessons on wednesday lunch time plus a more serious Spanish course mondays and wednesdays in town.

Feel free to pop by, usually chilled white wine in the fridge etc lol, guys in the bar speak passable english or the locals will help out.

Hi and tx a million for the info. We're 250 km away so were hoping for a few contact details so we could chat to folk before finding ourselves wandering around looking for a place only to find the sun going do and its time to return to Na Nucia before nightfall.

Any chance you can supply a few contact details for a B&B or camp grounds that offers overnight stays in a caravan etc.

I'll take a look in the free Focus magazine for temporary accomodation. Theres a caravan park in Mojacar and I have a buddy who flits between his villa close by here and his place in mojacar who is another mine of info lol.
