Are there any members (retired or not) here who live either full-time or part-time on any of the residential sites in or around Gallardos?

I'd be grateful for any feedback regarding your experience, your life over there, cost of  living etc.

Do you live in a static van/Caravan, the possibility of siteing your caravan,  as in storage, say for 6 months?

I have many questions, very new to this. I should add, I have lived in a number of countries (Spain was not one of them) but that was quite a number of years ago

I'm considering renting a static van as a try before you by option.

Airports? Are there any not too far from some of the sites?

Obviously we are all aware of Brexit and what that may bring.

I don't live on one of the sites so others will have to say what it's like to live there, but we visit Camping Los Gallardos regularly for the Sunday carvery and to take the grandchildren to kids club as we're just a couple of km away in Huerta Nueva. It always seems quite full but then there are a lot of static homes there as well as caravans & mobile homes. In case you haven't seen it the website for CLG is at https://campinglosgallardos.com/ and they do have a storage package.

The nearest airport is Almeria which is just 35 minutes drive from Los Gallardos.
