I just can’t wait to complete on the next chapter of my life. But the end of April I hope to be the proud owner of a lovely apartment in Palomares. I sold my financial services business and retired about 7 years ago ( I’m 68) and live just outside Bristol .

I’m so looking forward to meeting new friends, and learning all about what this part of the world has to offer. I know it’s going to be just wonderful. I can’t wait!!

Marianne, hope all goes well with your purchase. Myself and hubby moved inland to a small village called La Alfoquia. Its about 35 minutes inland from you. Maybe sometime you were ill get the opportunity to come to this part of Spain. It is lovely and mountainy. Lost of good walks. Some lovely propia todo. We have a bar restaurant called The Heathers. Maybe sometime you will pop in for a coffee. One way or another i hope you will be very happy with your move. Best regards. Mary

Hi and again welcome to Spain and best of luck with youre new adventure.

Partner and I live inland, a small village called "Urcal" near Huercal Overa, up the coast and inland, been here just over 2 years and love it, hope you do too.
