We are just about to buy a small property here and are hoping there's things to do 😁

What do you like to do? There's a bowls club, a walking group (goes out on Wednesdays), bridge two days a week at the Corner Bar (duplicate Monday afternoons, I teach on Tuesdays), a football pitch (I've run into the walking football group on occasion).

The charity associated with the expat services company CATS has a tea room with craft activities featured.

Some of the pubs including the Corner Bar sell food. There's a chippie open four days a week. You're just up the road from Arboleas and Albox where there are lots more offerings, including a ten pin bowling alley.

anything more you'd be looking for??

cheers

La Alfoquia has many bars and Union bar serves good English good if that’s what you are looking for. There is also a Spanish bar called Catalan that is very friendly and serves Tapas.

Zurgena is a short walk away and has the Parque Bar open from April to October serving Tapas andnhas live music everybody sunday plus other bars in the village.

Apart from bowling and walk football, there is also a gym with regular toning and Zumba classes plus spin and during the summer months aqua runs at the Pool Bar. La Alfoquia is a generous mixture of Spanish and other nationalities and extremely friendly. They recently put on a four day fiesta with various events and live bands. Good luck in your search
