Hi,

We live in England and have an old finca near Taberno and was thinking about getting a Ring doorbell system set up there. I was wondering if this would be possible and if anyone uses this system ? Obviously we would hide it somewhere that it can't be seen but at least we will know if anyone is wandering around the house. We dont have internet connection but do you think it would be possible to take a mobile from England, set up the wifi from it (charging from solar) and connect ?

Any suggestions welcome .. I'm toying with low cost ideas !

Thanks in advance

Heidi

Sorry for such a late reply. I stumbled across this post while looking for ring   security camera lights suppliers. I'm looking at starting up a business in the albox area and one of my ideas is to set up a shop specialising in security lights with built in cameras.

I'm afraid you need an internet supply in the house for the ring door bell or camera light to work but if you have one then I think it would be very beneficial to be able to see your holiday home 365 days a year.

Does anyone think this idea might work?

word of caution, amazon ring is well known for its LACK of data security. check it out if concerned about that
