Can anyone advise me please!!   We own a villa in huercal but dont live there permanent yet.  I have been told that if I register on the padron at the council they then receive money from the govt for two new people to the area. I was told after 1 year of been on the register I can apply by paying 60 euro,s per month for the national healthcare in Spain similar to the NHS in England  please can anyone advise me please.....many thanks

Hi, we are permanent and have just got temporary 3 mths medical cards by going to the medical centre nearby the town hall, this allows us to register with the local doctor in Urcal whilst ptroper medical cards are sorted.

Getting on the padron when temporary we havent looked into but youre assumptions regarding being on the padron and the council recieving more money from central government are correct.

Padron needs passports, NIE if you have one, deeds for any property you are buying or have bought, living part time most probably will be the same as even tho you may not be here all the time, I doubt that town hall would want to be bothered knowing when your here and/or not lol.
