Above ground pool.installers

We are going to get an above ground pool with wooden decking surround. Not found anyone local, that specialises in that but  have been in touch with a company based near Alicante who have locals they work with. Message me and I'll happily share the details. Similarly if anyone knows of anyone more local I'd love to hear too - I always like multiple quotes on things.

Hi,I have just read your post and wondered if you would be kind enough to send me the details of the above ground pool company.We are waiting to hear if we can have an inground one,but as our house is Urbano and some of our land  Rustica we are not sure.The swimming pool man was asking his architect to get in touch with H.O. Town Hall to ask them,but they are not very quick in replying.

Chap called Barry Dean came to do a site visit.

They can email you a brochure if you contact them.

We have yet to go ahead with any pool  as other unforseen more pressing works have come up.

I would be really grateful if you could let me know any info on if you get anywhere with HO town hall and permissions for in ground pool.

Hi Sally,Thanks for the info.I have just been checking my IBI s and it would seem that our house is Rustica,but the land went Urbano in 2013,so I have been in touch with a lovely man at PoolSureste,based in Murcia.He came out to the house a few weeks ago,and said that he would speak with his friend,an architect in Albox,who had friends at Huercal overa town hall ,to see if we could put an in ground pool.He did a thorough site survey and saw the best ground conditions to put the pool.I was very impressed with him.We will wait and see what he comes up with.It seems to be who you know at Huercal Overa town hall.I asked him for a price for a 10 by 5 pool,but there may be a restriction to an 8 by 4.He quoted me £12500,and then the architects fee and licence on top.As my pool here in the UK cost me double that,I thought it was a very good price for a gunnite pool.He has been doing it for over 15 years ,and previously did  them with his brother.If you look on their website,he has done some good pools.He has done one for our plumbers Father in the village.

I know the chap you mean, we also had him come to ours and he quoted same.

Not to be on a downer for you but he never came back despite emails and calls !

He said he would send out written quote and that was last we heard from him.

Hi Sally,the poolsureste man,who has been extremely helpful,has just messaged me to say that his arcitecto has asked the arcitecto in HO town hall if we could have an inground pool and the answer is no.Juan Romero,the poolsureste man said that yes,he could build one,but it would not be legal,and the authorities could make us take it out .So I will have to go with an above ground pool,and would like info on these if anyone has any.I believe you can put wooden decking around it as long as it is removable,i.e.not fixed concrete.Santa Maria de Nieva is now a conservation area,so no new development.even if we did it as a balsa,they would make us take it out,fill it in.

I wish we had done it a year ago,the law has changed since.
