Can anybody genuinely recommend an internet based TV channel system?

We have tried at least 3 over the last few yrs and ultimately all rubbish

We have a decent Wimax signal ave 15 but I am truly fed up with the buffering circle of death

So before I spend 1000 euros on an ugly 2m dish and sky decoder can anyone recommend anything

Regards

Peter

Hi,

I use https://www.facebook.com/groups/210263392911859/?fref=nf Eagle Pro on their app on my Firestick or Android Box. It will also work on Mag Boxes or other devices

They charge £60 a year but do a months trial for £12.50, a second simultaneous connection can be bought for £25 a year so you can watch in two rooms. It also has video on demand and series links

It is a closed group so I don't know if the link will work but if not then search for John Smithfield https://www.facebook.com/john.smithfield.12532 or

I’ve been using smartdnsproxy.com for the last three years with a local WIMAX giving me 4-6MGbps download, after it became impossible to get tv without an enormous satellite dish.  As it’s a proxy server rather than VPN, the demand on the WiFi is much less.  It costs roughly $40 a year and there’s a 14 day free trial.  I either get the programmes through my iPad and appleplay or alternatively through a firestick.  It requires a little bit of fiddling with DNS settings to get set up but there’s a very easy to follow set up guide. It doesn’t seem to me that there’s a limit on the number of devices you can use.

I had assumed given the reference to a 2m satellite dish, that the writer would also want to watch U.K. tv.  If so, you do need a system to unblock the broadcast, such dnsproxy or vpn.  It’s be great to see if anyone has any other solutions cheaper solutions.  I have also used it to watch Spanish catchup tv, although when watching live Spanish TV I agree I just do this through an ordinary tv aerial connection.
