Hi

Now moved in to Fuente Amarga, and seeking advice on house insurance. Currently using house as holiday home so will be empty for up to 3 months. We have close neighbours who will keep an eye on things. Any pointers to suitable companies appreciated.

Hi, we are with Liberty Seguros in both Mojacar & Albox ( 2 properties ). Can only commend the service. Happy.to give you Ged's number or just www. libertyseguros. Mojacar.

Whatever you do avoid Allianz.es. like the plague. We were hit by the Inundation of December 2016 & are still waiting for settlement. Then on 1/8/2017 we had our Wind Turbine stolen. Replacement cost 1790€. Allianz contribution 1212€!!!!!

If you want UK level cover then you need a Company underwritten by Lloyds of London like Abbeygate or Intasure. Avoid Almerimar Insurance and their Alicante underwriter which feeds to Lloyds. Bent loss adjuster.

Best Wishes,

Bob and Sandra

Hi Jim & Lynne,

The one that seems very good is Generali who have an office on the next block down from our office.

There is a Spanish man who speaks great English. Juan diego: 600303723

Anna will also have the details of the company the previous owners used so that would also be a good start.

Best Wishes
