Sorry to but in on this post but we have two Hungarian Vizslas and are thinking of spending 5 months in Spain next year. My concern is exercising them as I understand they have to be walked on a lead. Ours would go demented if they couldn't stretch their legs a couple of times a day. Thanks in anticipation of any response.

Ours are exercised off lead down our rambla on a daily basis when we are there on holiday. However you do have to keep them on lead & if over 21 ins in height then they have to be muzzled when in a public area, town, village, beach, market etc. We found this out when we had our Mastiffs & was told by the police as well as the court. We won the case as at that time (about 10 years ago) there was no data available in the public domain for us to be aware that this was the case. I have not looked but I assume that this information can now be found somewhere, it may also be possible that the law has changed since then?

Hello,

The 21" measurement , is that from floor to shoulder or floor to top of the head? Three of our Bulldogs are about 21" floor to top of head but Otis is quite tall possibly 24" floor to top of head.

Dave

We were told shoulder to floor & have never been stopped when out with any of our bulldogs other than when a policeman asked to stroke them...lol
