Hi

I'm new to the forum and am missing Garrucha, our last trip having been cancelled due to the pandemic. Everything crossed for October..

Can anyone please let me know how Garrucha has fared during the pandemic? Have many shops, bars and restaurants gone out of business? It's a great town and I hope it's managed to keep going, despite the restrictions.

Many thanks

Louise

Louise Garrucha is doing just fine nothing seems to have closed yet and there are lots of Spanish tourists here now spending their cash.  the majority of people are obeying the masks rules the market is back on in a new place down by the fishermans area.  the only thing missing are the English tourists so it's quieter.

Someone I know in Garrucha was woken up in the middle of the night to tell them that the family in their apartment block had tested positive for the virus so they are in lockdown...
