Best English speaking bank in branch and online banking

Banco Sabadell in Vera is very good. Our account was set up by our lawyer (Maria at Mundi Abogados) when we first bought and we didn't have any idea about bank accounts then. We had to go to the branch after the account was opened to sign papers and get cards but it was quite straigtforward. We have very pleased: the branch staff in Vera speak English, the account is in English online and at the ATM and no problems. Definitely recommended.

we opened an account at Bankia in Garrucha i think we just took our passports in and came back five days later for our bank card everyone we have spoken to in the last year have spoken English plus we have our pensions paid in and there are no charges.

I’m also with Sabadell in Vera.  I opened my account in 2014 from overseas - all they wanted was copies of my passport.  All the staff at Sabadell Vera are English speaking and all are very helpful indeed.

Their online app is really really good and very secure.  The majority of transactions can be carried out from the iPhone / Android app.  Whatever can’t be done on the app can certainly be done on the full online site.

Sabadell pride themselves on providing a service in your language of choice and have designed their “Distance Banking” app / website to be easy to use and reduce need to go into the branch.

Their Cuenta Expansion is fee-free as well

Been with Sabadell since I arrived here two years ago and the VERA branch is a delight and the staff helpful and supportive with good English. Can't praise them enough!!

However, beware of the branch in Mojacar Playa. The manager there is very happy to give bad advice without proper English legal translations to expats if it makes him some commission, no matter what the consequences for the customer (bad references available on request) and the staff are surly and look unhappy. I wonder why??

Yes, Sabadell in Vera gets a thumbs up from us - very helpful all the way and there's easy parking right outside if you need to go into the branch

I went to Sabadell In Mojacar Playa and met Maria who was extremely helpful, opened my bank account and explained everything in very good English, and agree their online banking is excellent, I had already rang ahead and made an appointment.

Hi ! Any coments on the bank Cajamar ?  Bank charges, english speaking and helpful staff ?

Afternoon, Were moving to vera area, would have been there September had it not been for a few problems, should now be there before 1st week November. hat i need to know is whether im best keeping my British bank/ building society to have things paid into like private pension to avoid too many fees or would it be alright having them paid into a local bank?
