Hello, we are coming over at the end of February and are going to be eating out most nights, is there anywhere cosy, or somewhere that has a fire to keep us warm!

We had a bargain again with the hire car from GOLDCAR only £1.37 a day!!! So

We are able to treat ourselves xx

Dont spend all your money too quickly, Goldcar have one of the worst record for charging for extras when car is collected and on return. Just google complaints and see what it says.

Oh! Well we’ve been using Goldcar for 15 years never had a problem with them,

We always have a great car and the service is always friendly and and efficient,

And they are usually the cheapest too, I will certainly tell you if we find differently

This time.

Hi ya'll, just regarding hire cars, is there anyone, using any company from any base, on or off airport who've pre booked a certain hire car and actually got what they booked ?, one car booked was a Ford focus estate and got a much smaller Toyota Audi's lol, finished up after arguing my case and got an upgraded Vw Golf automatic lol, booked a Fiat 500 L for the space, got a Fiat 500 X, again much smaller, seems a bit of a lottery.

Hi Hope you enjoy your stay in Garrucha. We like La Cantina de Flores, it only has a limited menu but the food is very good and inexpensive. Located opposite the port entrance and frequented by Spaniards in the main but with a good few Brits as well. Owned by a Dutch lady and the staff speak English.

I'll be in Garrucha next weekend and will enjoy a stroll along the Paseo de Maritimo from my apartment prior to eating there.

Hi Gaynor, we love The Bistro at Vera Playa, about a 10-15 min walk from Garrucha, it's next to Pub Millionaire and Rufo's Bar, check it out on Trip Advisor. The food is gorgeous, menu del dia is €14.95 and they have a lovely log/pellet burner, their gorgeous Rioja also warms your cockles!! I would definitely book your table here as it's very popular to avoid any disappointment.
