We have arrived in our holiday home in Los Lobos and cannot get the electric hob (Edesa) or oven (General Electric) to work.  They light up, but do not get hot.

Can anyone give us a contact number or name of an electrician who can help please?

many thanks

richard

on the oven check if you have a timer control that it is not just on as it will stop it working.

Thank you for taking the time to reply and for your suggestion.  One of our neighbours has advised us that this is a problem they experience.  However, I am unable to reset the clock, no matter what combination of buttons I press.  The induction hob is (sort of) working now. 2 rings out of the four and a 3rd ring that works at the highet setting!

UPDATE!!  After watching many Youtube videos, (none of which were the same as our oven) I tried again with button combinations, this time holding them for longer.  Eventually the clock stopped fashing and allowed me to change it.  Many thanks Alicia!  We now have a working oven and don't have to rely on the microwave.
