my husband went to the place on the seafront for this and had an eye test and provided all his health details i.e. prescription details and health history for last two years, he had a heart attack,  they then took the licence away gave him a paper cover and sent the other one of to be renewed expected back in Jan hopefully. cost 50 euros.

Hi Alicia

Thanks for your reply , I thought you had to get a certificate from the medical centre and then apply seperately for the licence I did not think that the medical centre sent the licence away to be exchanged for a Spanish one so that is interesting ,, gosh a bit of a mind field sorry to hear about your husbands heart attack , I will take our medical info then

if you are going to do it yourself then that's one way but far easier to let a company do it all for you. and they speak english

Hi,

Yes I had mine done a couple of weeks ago.

They do an eye test, check your blood pressure, listen to your chest, check your ears and check if you are on any medication.

After that they take a photo with your mask removed and then give you a piece of paper to confirm your medical has been done.

And of course remove you of 50 euros.

I then presented my medical paper, photo and UK license to my agent to start the process.

Hope this helps

Hi

I went to Garrucha. I had a sight test plus they checked my ears. They then gave me a form stating that I had passed, which is then attached tot your application form for processing.

Hi Alicia

Can I ask what is the name of the medical centre your husband went to.

Thanks.
