Hi all, obviously a lot of brits have been affected by Brexit, and the 90 day stay rule currently in place, however the link below is a petition for the British government to get in talks with the Spanish authorities to increase this to 180 days, so ideally the more signatures the better, thanks

ANY petition or plan to change this rule must be stopped. Whist I am sorry for people that that voted ‘remain’ in the referendum, there must be no change to a rule that would allow brexiteers to prosper from the vote to leave. As brexiteers never stopped reminding us,  ‘leave means leave’. I say, ‘90 days means 90 days’. You reap what you sow. Suck it up. If I sound bitter, you are correct. Brexit has cost me and a lot of people on this site thousands over the last five years so why should brexiteers have their cake and eat it?  Again I repeat, sorry for remainers but brexiteers are to blame.  Doris.

Anyone that voted for Brexit obviously wouldnt support this as they knew about the 90 day rule when they voted leave.

Good post Gary and duly signed.

Interesting to note that this petition is flooding Ex Forces FB pages and getting a huge response, even from the many thousands that already live in Spain......... 'There's more ways than 9 to kill a cat' (no offence cat lovers)!

My view, it will eventually happen with or without external pressure, and not just in Spain?

Hi, it has been posted on Facebook to hopefully get a reading in the commons, but requires anther 89,000 signatures, hopeful that it gets to the target, main thing is to get it into the wider public domain, as well as the Spanish forums.

You seem a tad bitter, why is it remoaners all seem to drink from the same cup, totally unhelpful with your very selfish opinion, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

Never tell me what to say.  I am very bitter against Brexit. It has cost me and others thousands. Do you expect me to be happy about it?  The loss of money might not mean much to you but on my small pension it could mean a meal, and for what? So I repeat, don’t preach at me for my opinions, I’m sure you have yours. Leave means leave as brexiteers NEVER stopped crowing about and 90 days means 90 days.
