What's the current situation with contactless this year? Do I need to bring lots of cash or are all the beach chiringuitos and the bars and restaurants on hotel street and the ones near near the consum accepting card?

Most places accept a card, even som market stalls 🤣🤣. Consum in Vera plays are even installing self service tills! 21st century has arrived 😲😲😲

Ok, if this helps anyone:
Natsun & Cota Zero are cash only. The server also pulled a grimace when I got my card out in 'La Golondrina' and asked for cash instead, if id persevered they might have relented bite the food and service were both dreadful so I didn't try again. Card is happily accepted at Turquesa and Naurista.
No problems paying by card anywhere I tried (so not all places!)on Hotel Street (including the mini supermarket), mayo, bodeguita del medio, cachica in the new commercial plaza or in consum (no queues for the self checkouts!).
Now I'm just dreading the bill as I overindulged a bit.
