I am looking for someone to repair my Bosch washing machine. It will wash but will not spin dry, everything comes out very wet.

Hi Richard,

I am no technician but my 2 year old washing machine stopped spinning so I called out the technician. He told me that the machine was ok but it was my house electrics that weren’t sufficient for it to perform properly according to the tests he ran. Changes in our electrical installation meant that the cables were inadequate for spinning. I got in an electrician and hey presto we have resolved the problem.

Then my daughter had a similar problem with her washing machine and the same thing happened. So my suggestion would be to get an electrician in before you spend money on the washing machine technician. A change of cables, and/or socket, and you may have sorted out the problem.

Good luck.

As my machine (and my daughter’s) had previously been working correctly, I found it hard to believe this reason/theory but it was a qualified Whirlpool technician who first told me. And since we have updated the cables & sockets everything is working fine.

Hi it could be something simple like a coin blocking water going out .

Is there a small door at the bottom of the washing machine if yes put some towels on the floor unscrew it if coins in it they will fall out clean it out put it back together and should spin really not a difficult thing to do the bottom right picture is the filter
