Returning to Spain with Residencia

Hi, I have Residencia but have been in the UK for all of 2020 - I planned to return to Spain in March, but delayed my return because of the Covid crisis. Does anyone know if I can return to Spain, and the best way to travel? Also, I'm presuming that if I was allowed back into Spain that I would have to self isolate for 14 days when I arrived? The only way that I can think of travelling is by plane to Gibraltar, then hire car to Almeria. Does anyone know if this is posible or will I be turned back by the police at the Spanish border when I try to leave Gibraltar, or will I be prevented from hiring a car? Any advice would be helpful. Hopefully this will give you the reassurance you need. If you have residency you may return to your permanent home, and self isolate on arrival there. The Brits in Spain fb page has also issued a series of helpful videos and posts you could have a look at
