I'm looking at getting the large satellite dish removed from my balcony and having a small WiFi box fitted which can be turned off while I'm not there and set up when I come over...I know absolutely nothing about this stuff and I would be grateful if someone could advise me on the best company to go with for the best signal and is it set up to the tv so I can receive English channels...I'm in mediterraneo av in roquetas...if anyone has any idea and prices it would be much appreciated. .

If you get a 4K Firestick or a 4Gb Android Box you can receive tv from IPTV suppliers and use NetFlix/Amazon Prime/Apple TV if you have subscriptions or you can use Tea TV ot Titanium TV and watch the latest Movies and Series for free. You will need internet though, this can be wireless/fixed or 3 or 4G Mobile but you need 10mbs+ to watch HD tv and preferably more.

I use https://www.facebook.com/groups/210263392911859/?fref=nf Eagles Q Pro for IPTV - they charge £70 per annum but I think they are charging £60 for members of this forum. They can set you up in minutes if you have a Firestick/Android Box/Mag Box or Smart TV.

The other thing is that the subscription is not IP locked which means you could use it whereever you are UK, Spain or anywhere

If you don't have a decent wifi signal the chromecast/googlecast can experience some buffering and lag, other than the free apps you would still need an IPTV supplier for general tv though

Thanks Jim, I'll ask some of the neighbours to see which seems the best in the area.

I have used varioua IPTV services here and have never been completely satisfied. They tend to suffer from buffering and from time to time they get shut down.

I started using TV Mucho. It only has Freeview, but it suits all my needs. The catch up service is brilliant and I the quality is exceptional.

If you have a smart tv, you just need to cast it to your tv. Alternatively you'll need a chromecast.

For internet, I use pepephone. They are 35 euro a month and there is no contract. You can end it whenever you want. I ordered it through phone house and they came out to install it the very next day.

Good luck!

I use Stream.ec - fantastic service, all channels including movies and sports. Also a very comprehensive Video on demand and movie section. I pay €25 per quarter
