We are planning to move to the area from the middle of September. We will be renting for a couple of months whilst we find our new home. Please can I have some advice on the local schools, and locations which would suit us short term. My children are 5 and 6 we love water parks if there are any nearby. Any other advice would be great we are literally packing up putting our house contents into storage and flying over to start a new life following an illness we have decided to take some time out and enjoy just being a family. I would like to purchase a villa slightly remote with land to potentially run a holiday club from yughts through the holiday weeks.

Hi there... I can't give you any advice about that area as we are an hour inland from there.

I just wanted to say good luck with everything.

Kind Regards

Jane

Hi

We love Mojacar we visit a lot as we have an apartment in Vera Playa which we also love we are about 20mins drive to Mojacar we have a Water Park in Vera Playa .

All I wanted to say is hope you all have a lovely time in Spain and enjoy the lovely places and beaches. I'm sure you will and we can't wait until we are in the position to stay in Vera Playa most  of the year. The lifestyle is brilliant we are so active when we are there and eat healthier . For us it's a lovely place to bring up children.

Good Luck and enjoy !

Tracey

Good luck with your move. Yes Vera Water Park opens in May each year for the season, quite expensive family of 4 100 Euro for the day. Discounts available with Residencia or after 4pm I think. Also if you are planning on setting up a Yurt business for the holiday season, then don't do it here in the coastal desert region - would you pay to swelter in a tent in July/August in this desert heat?? Check out www.greenmountainyurt.com way up in the hills and forest of Alpujjaras...surrounded by cool trees and shade.

It sounds like an excellent plan,  we are very envious

We have a lovely apartment just set back from the beach if you are looking for something to rent (there are a few booking in for the Autumn but they can be moved)

Check out Rentmojacar Ref A20MB Good luck x

There are always offers on at the watervpark and you will often find, 'buy one get one free tickets' on your car windscreens.  It's a great day out and yes you can go after 4pm at a cheaper price.  The water park opens June to September (school holidays)

Wife in Russia for 6 weeks soon ...so I'm looking to chill in Mojacar in return for Free board and Lodgings.(Miss it a lot)

Good all round DIY skills and hard worker. Can work on own initiative.

Ex-Police and Military Dog training expert, very little Spanish, but a reasonable spoken German. Available for rest of August and most of September if required?

Good driver and clean licence maybe a furniture run or return run from UK  with stay over in Mojacar in between?

Volunteer work no problems....
