Yes this is one topic i am a little confused about.

All none essential travel ie holidays are banned until 17May21

Boris Johnsons father went to his home in Greece last year and was fined for going but he took it to court and won on the basis he was not going on holiday he was going to do work on his own property.I believe it is known as Stanleys law and can be used by anyone who owns or rents a property.Paul

Well. We have a property in RDM that needs work doing on it. Does that mean we can travel????

I would not like to say yes but it could be used in law.

Doesn't make any difference as spanish controls will take presidence, only spanish nationals or resldents +diplomats or football teams etc can enter prior to 31st May. Hope it may change to sooner

i don't think you will be coming on the 16th you had better contact the airline and make sure of the restricitions for flights as it will not be nice to arrive and find yourself put straight back on a flight home.  The rules in Spain are definate and restrited to Nationals and the holders of a TIE or a green residencia you are not allowed to come to second homes yet.
