Remember Brexit though. Don't want to put a dampener on it but you may have left it too late! Hope not but good luck.

Do not buy in Arboleas until you're the property is fully legal.  Know what an AFO means and try renting first to check out the different areas some are nearer the village than others.  You will need a car, no public transport in that area.  Make sure you have health cover, Brexit might affect that.  Good luck you'll need it.

Firstly, welcome. My better half and I will be arriving in Arboleas in the new year. So, we'll have a 6 month start on you and hopefully, will be able to relate useful info to you.

So far, the biggest amount of grief has been the glacial speed that the UK conveyancing system moves at.

We will be exchanging contracts on our UK home within a week or so, and then we'll see how the Spanish side works.

On a general note, I have posted a few questions on this forum and have been greatly impressed with the willingness of these good people to offer advice. Lastly, there's no such thing as a daft question. If we all knew everything, how boring would we be?

Good Luck and best wishes. Lee

Hi,

Good luck in your move. We arrived in Llanos Del Peral in October, which is not far from Arboleas. There’s a good group on fb, ‘Albox Chatter’. It has lots of useful information & you can ask questions for help & advise, etc.
id be happy to help you if need be, just ask.

Gilly & Rich 👍
