Moving to Albox - Arboleas

Lol, well you won't be far from British expats in either place.

Illegality of property is still a problem. Be careful as estate agents will tell you what you want to hear. 

You will certainly get warmer winters although inland it does get cold. You will be 40 minutes away from the coast.

I would be really interested in how things progress with your property search , I too have concerns re illegally built properties 

My husband and I  are in a similar position to you and your wife. We live in the Centre region in France and plan  to move  to the Albox/ Arboleas region next year. We are planning a visit during November to do a bit of research - we will post our findings on our return

We have already bought a property in Albox but not out perminantly until next year. Albox is a lovely town plenty of expats plus everything you would need to make life better.
