Hi everyone. Thinking of buying a holiday home in Los Blacos near Chirivel and was wondering if it is a walkable distance. I am assuming that there are no shops in Los Blancos. Thankyou.

Hi.

You are right there are no shops in Los Blancos. I guess it would be a 30 minute walk/stroll from los blancos to Chirivel using a short cut through the rambla.

Where abouts in Los Blancos are you thinking of buying ?

Hello, I realise this is an old post but we have been to view a villa in Los Blancos today which we like very much. We have spoken to a couple of English owners, one couple have a holiday home there & love it. The other is selling the villa next door to the house we viewed today. He mentioned the goat heard that comes passed every day, he put a very positive slant on it but we’ve been wondering why both villas are up for sale & whether it could be something to do with said goats 🤷‍♀️
We’re seriously thinking of putting in an offer & moving there as full time residents. Any insights you have into the area in general would be helpful. Thanks Julie

Hi Julie,

Although we don’t live in Los Blancos (not that far away though), we get a herd of goats coming right past our house every day, up into the mountains and then later, back down, not a problem, no smells and no more flies than normal, and the shepherds have always been good to know.

Hi… thanks very much for taking the time to reply. And putting our mind at rest re 🐐

I actually think I’d love seeing them go by every day. We’ve had lots of positives from various forums/groups. Sounds a lovely place to live 😎
